In a fast-paced world where work often consumes our lives, finding a balance between personal and professional commitments has become increasingly challenging.

However, at Pivotal Energy, we believe that a happy and well-rested workforce leads to higher productivity and overall satisfaction.

That's why we have recently implemented a 9-day fortnight policy, allowing our employees to achieve a better work-life balance while maintaining their productivity levels.

With the ability for our staff to opt in or opt out, this new change means that employees can complete their bi-weekly hours over nine days and have every second Friday as a day off.

By reducing the number of workdays in a fortnight, we aim to provide our team with the opportunity to recharge, pursue personal interests, and spend quality time with loved ones.

This extra day off not only reduces stress levels but also promotes a healthier lifestyle and stronger relationships outside of work.

Contrary to common assumptions, offering more time off can actually boost productivity.

According to a study conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management, companies that offer flexible work arrangements, such as a 9-day fortnight, experience a significant increase in employee satisfaction and engagement.

In fact, the study found that 89% of employees who had access to flexible work options reported greater job satisfaction, leading to increased loyalty and productivity.

This demonstrates that implementing a 9-day fortnight not only benefits employees but also yields positive outcomes for the company as a whole.

When employees have regular opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation, they return to work with renewed focus, energy, and creativity which will benefits our customers.

The 9-day fortnight encourages a better work-life balance, reducing burnout and preventing the onset of fatigue that can hinder performance.

At Pivotal, the adoption of a 9-day fortnight represents our dedication to the well-being and success of our employees.

By valuing work-life balance, we enhance their overall quality of life, boost productivity, and cultivate a positive work environment.

We firmly believe that a healthy, satisfied workforce is the foundation for long-term success.
